Rector: Position currently vacant
Rev Jim Pye
I was born into a church going family and came to faith aged 20 at "The Witness" Christian musical in my home city of Norwich. I was immediately involved in setting up and running a youth group in my parish church and continued ministering in various places that I lived. Soon after marrying Melanie in 1984 we were challenged to consider full time ordained ministry in the Church of England, and I left my job as an Office Manager of an Insurance Brokerage to start training. I was ordained in 1990 and I have a passion for preaching and reaching out to people with God's love. It has been my privilege and joy to see many people transformed by the knowledge and love of God.
Melanie and I have a son, Joshua, a Senior Scientist for Glaxo Smith Kline in Hertfordshire, and Chloe, studying music and musical theatre in Chichester. We love spending time with them, and also visiting Melanie's parents in Peterborough and my mum in Norwich. We are enjoying visiting and ministering in the churches in the Benefice and getting to know the beautiful county of Kent. Despite their poor recent record in the Premiership, I continue to follow Norwich City.

Rev Caroline Turvey
I have emjoyed being part of church family since I was small, and came to know more fully the freedom that Christ brings as a teenager. I have been actively involved in church life and outreach, especially with youth and children’s work, ever since. I am rather partial to a good old chinwag with people and love to share my faith in a way that is relevant.
I have a gorgeous family (terribly biased). Dan, my husband, and children; Bethany, Reuben Lily and Jude - all adults and at the stage of working out where they want to be in life.
I love walking or running with our dog, Millie, a spot of knitting or crochet if I have time, singing and being by the sea.
